Heroes

Heroes

Military service is measured in time, but its true value is found in the moments within that time: the early mornings, the long nights, the deployments far from home, the challenges overcome, and the bonds formed that last forever. Every year served is a chapter written in the story of a hero—one who answered the call when their country needed them.

To our service members, your dedication has strengthened our nation. You stood guard in distant lands, trained tirelessly, and upheld the highest traditions of the uniform you proudly wear. You carried the weight of responsibility with steady hands and steadfast hearts. And through each duty station, each mission, and each sacrifice, you demonstrated what it truly means to serve.

To the families—your support is the foundation upon which these heroes stand. You endured the separations, the uncertainty, and the quiet worry that comes with military life. Your strength and love make their service possible, and today we honor you as well.

As we reflect on the years given in service, we are reminded that heroism is not defined by the medals earned or the ranks achieved, but by the willingness to serve when others step aside; to lead when others hesitate; and to keep moving forward when the road is difficult.
